# Patent

GraphQL object

A public patent record from patent office data, which may be linked to filings and opportunities.

## Fields

- `abstract` — The patent's abstract by language, as JSON.
- `active` — Whether the patent is in force.
- `applicationNumber` — The patent's application number.
- `countryCode` — The ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code.
- `countryCodes` — The ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 codes of all countries in the patent family.
- `createdAt` — The patent's creation date.
- `effective` — Whether the patent is currently effective.
- `expiresOn` — The patent's expiration date, adjusted for patent term adjustment when available.
- `familyId` — The patent's family identifier.
- `filingOn` — The patent's filing date.
- `googlePatentUrl` — The URL of the patent on Google Patents.
- `googlePdfUrl` — The URL of the patent PDF on Google Patents.
- `granted` — Whether the patent has been granted.
- `grantedNumber` — The patent's granted patent number.
- `grantedOn` — The date the patent was granted.
- `id` — The patent's unique identifier.
- `patentApplicants` — The applicants named on the patent.
- `patentFamilyNested` — A nested representation of the patent family.
- `patentInventors` — The inventors named on the patent.
- `priorityOn` — The patent's priority date.
- `publicationNumber` — The patent's publication number.
- `publicationNumbers` — The publication numbers of all family members, comma separated.
- `publishedOn` — The patent's publication date.
- `serialNumber` — The patent's application serial number.
- `stateEnum` — The patent's state.
- `title` — The patent's title by language, as JSON.
- `updatedAt` — The date the patent was last updated.
