# Grant

GraphQL object

A research grant or funding award, which may fund one or more disclosures.

## Fields

- `amount` — The grant's award amount.
- `archivedAt` — The date the grant was archived. Returns null if the grant is active.
- `archivedByUser` — The user who archived the grant.
- `awardedOn` — The date the grant was awarded.
- `commentsCount` — The number of comments on the grant.
- `contact` — The principal investigator.
- `contractTypeEnum` — The kind of funding instrument, such as grant or contract.
- `createdAt` — The grant's creation date.
- `createdByUser` — The user who created the grant.
- `createdByUserId` — The unique identifier of the user who created the grant.
- `currency` — The ISO 4217 currency code used by the grant's monetary fields.
- `description` — The grant's description.
- `disclosureGrants` — The links between the grant and the disclosures it funds.
- `disclosuresCount` — The number of disclosures linked to the grant.
- `duns` — The recipient's DUNS number.
- `externalId` — The grant's identifier in an external system. Set when the grant is imported.
- `grantNumber` — The grant's number, assigned by the funder.
- `id` — The grant's unique identifier.
- `matterDocumentsCount` — The number of documents attached to the grant.
- `organization` — The funding organization.
- `sourceEnum` — How the grant was created, such as manually or by import.
- `subcontractCity` — The city of the subcontracting organization.
- `subcontractNumber` — The grant's subcontract number, if the account is a subcontractor.
- `subcontractState` — The state of the subcontracting organization.
- `subcontractStateCode` — The state code of the subcontracting organization.
- `title` — The grant's title.
- `updatedAt` — The date the grant was last updated.
- `updatedByUser` — The user who last updated the grant.
- `updatedByUserId` — The unique identifier of the user who last updated the grant.
