# Disclosure

GraphQL object

An invention disclosure submitted by inventors and managed by the technology transfer office.

## Fields

- `advantages` — The advantages over existing solutions.
- `archivedAt` — The date the disclosure was archived. Returns null if the disclosure is active.
- `archivedByUser` — The user who archived the disclosure.
- `archivedReasonEnum` — The reason the disclosure was archived.
- `barriersToCommercialization` — The known obstacles to bringing the technology to market.
- `businessValue` — The business value of the invention.
- `commercialApplications` — The potential commercial applications of the technology.
- `commercialApplicationsText` — The commercial applications as plain text.
- `createdAt` — The disclosure's creation date.
- `createdByUser` — The user who created the disclosure.
- `createdByUserId` — The unique identifier of the user who created the disclosure.
- `description` — The disclosure's description.
- `detectability` — How easily infringement could be detected.
- `developmentStateDescription` — A description of the development state.
- `developmentStateEnum` — How far the invention has been developed.
- `disclosureContacts` — The inventors and other contacts on the disclosure.
- `disclosureCreatedAt` — The date the inventor started the disclosure, which may precede submission.
- `disclosureNumber` — The disclosure's number, assigned by the account.
- `filingsCount` — The number of filings linked to the disclosure.
- `firstConceptionOn` — The date the invention was first conceived.
- `fundingSourceNotes` — Notes about the funding behind the work.
- `futurePublicDisclosureOn` — The date of a planned future public disclosure.
- `grantsCount` — The number of grants linked to the disclosure.
- `id` — The disclosure's unique identifier.
- `ideaId` — The unique identifier of the idea the disclosure was converted from.
- `inventionForSaleOn` — The date the invention was first offered for sale.
- `licenseStateEnum` — The disclosure's licensing status.
- `matterDocumentsCount` — The number of documents attached to the disclosure.
- `maturityLevelDescription` — A description of how mature the technology is.
- `novelConcepts` — What is new about the invention.
- `partnerOutreachNotes` — Notes about outreach to potential partners.
- `potentialEncumbrances` — The known encumbrances, such as prior agreements or third-party rights.
- `potentialPublicationOn` — The date a publication is expected.
- `problemStatement` — The problem the invention addresses.
- `publicDisclosureOn` — The date the invention was first publicly disclosed.
- `reducedToPracticeOn` — The date the invention was reduced to practice.
- `releaseToInventor` — Whether rights were released back to the inventor.

- `startupCompanyEnum` — Whether a startup is planned or formed around the invention.
- `submittedAt` — The date the disclosure was submitted to the office.
- `submittedByUser` — The user who submitted the disclosure.

- `trlEnum` — The disclosure's technology readiness level, from 1 to 9.
