# Assignee

GraphQL object

A company or institution from the global assignee database, typically a current
or potential licensee. Organizations can link to an assignee.

## Fields

- `assigneeIndustries` — The links between the assignee and the industries it operates in.
- `children` — The assignee's direct children.
- `companyTypeEnum` — The assignee's company type, such as startup or enterprise.
- `createdAt` — The assignee's creation date.
- `customLogoUrl` — The URL of a logo uploaded by the account, which overrides the default logo.
- `description` — The assignee's description.
- `domain` — The assignee's primary web domain.
- `foundedYear` — The year the assignee was founded.
- `id` — The assignee's unique identifier.
- `legalName` — The assignee's registered legal name.
- `logoUrl` — The URL of the assignee's logo.
- `name` — The assignee's name.
- `originCountryCode` — The ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code of the assignee's country of origin.
- `parent` — The assignee's parent. Returns null for a root assignee.
- `shortDescription` — The assignee's short description.
- `stockSymbol` — The assignee's stock ticker symbol, if publicly traded.
- `typeEnum` — The assignee's entity type, such as company or university.
- `updatedAt` — The date the assignee was last updated.
- `website` — The assignee's website URL.
